Digital citizenship

We learnt about what it means to be a good digital citizen. A digital citizen is when you work on a digital device like a computer, or iPad. We found out that being a good digital citizen involves a lot of respect...just like being a good citizen at school, at home or in our community!

Stability and co-operation

We had a lot of fun today working together. We had to cooperate to balance together and then problem solve to get our whole team across the court without touching the court!! We only had 3 lino tiles to stand on! It took a lot of thinking. We co-operated really well because we were all working to achieve the same thing. Well done Matai hub. What great problem solvers.

Magnet exploration and discovery time!

What a fun time we had today using all the equipment in our new magnet kit.  We discovered so many things.  Check out our Padlet on the magnet page to see our emerging ideas and wonderings.

Earthquakes in Otago/Southland

Have you felt any earthquakes this year?  Visit this website to see when Otago and Southland have had earthquakes over the past year. It's amazing just how many we have.  Are you prepared if one happens to be a bit bigger than the rest?  Comment below about what you have done to be prepared.
